With mrViewer you can add files by simply dragging and dropping them into the main panel or you can use the browse button to locate your media. It comes with a couple of tools that allow you to specify the frame rate, play or stop the current video selection, skip to the start or end position of a clip, adjust the volume, alter the RGB value, and adjust the levels for gamma and exposure. Passive 3D Stereo Support (anaglyphs, side by side, interlaced, checkerboard). We found mrViewer’s layout seemed to be a little cluttered and it is difficult to understand the functions easily. That having been said, there are however, tooltips for giving you some hints to help you along. The app does have some good features though, such as support for hotkeys, which can be reassigned, and it also comes with viewable log files. It provides information on filenames, size, ratio aspect, gamma, format, memory, and compression. For images, you can analyze a histogram, and it has touchscreen editing support as well. Overall, mrViewer has some useful features but we found the interface not that intuitive and slightly cumbersome.

Vectr is a free vector graphic design app that is easy to get to grips with. It has a fresh, snappy interface and comes with a stack of useful design tools to help you let out your creative side. Vectr comes with an intuitive interface that is very simple to learn. When you first start the app you can use the walkthrough tasks to help you get used to the interface and the Vectr’s features. Next, is the ‘Your Files’ area, which is located in the middle of the dashboard. This part of the dashboard contains previews of all your Vectr work files, which can be edited according to your needs. Finally, the ‘Menu Bar’ contains the 'Search' bar on the left corner and the 'New File' button on the right. The search bar can sift through your work and locate what you need. For creating a new file you simply select the ‘New File’ icon. It doesn’t matter of you are a novice or a pro, you can use Vectr for Mac to design all sorts of various content; your logo, business card, presentation, or poster, to a brochure, app or even a website.
