TreeSize
TreeSize Free is a useful app that makes managing your disk space easy, by providing accurate views of how much space any given group of files is taking up on your computer. You can start TreeSize Free from the context menu of a folder or drive. It shows you the size of this folder, including its subfolders. If you need to see more info regarding any subfolders, you can expand folders and can see the size of every subfolder. Key Features Include: Locate disk space issues. Monitor free space on mobile devices. Detailed overview. TreeSize Free is pretty versatile as it is able to scan hard drives and mobile devices via MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) and WebDAV. It is also able to scan network shares and cloud drives. As TreeSize Free uses the MTF (Master File Table) for local NTFS drives, it guarantees ultra-fast, secure scans. You can easily navigate folders and their sizes by key, color coded visualisation bars. The interface is clean and fresh showing you a stack of data including NTFS compression rates. The column view offers detailed information about files and folders including size, occupied disk space, number of files, last access, and owner. Overall, this handy little utility occupies minimal disk space, uses a small amount of system resources and has an intuitive interface on standard and touch enabled devices.

So you start to watch a movie but you have to leave... don't worry, when you open that movie again it will resume at the same point you left it, and with the same settings: audio track, subtitles, volume... More interesting features include: Configurable subtitles. You can choose font and size, and even colors for the subtitles. Audio track switching. You can choose the audio track you want to listen. Works with avi and mkv. And of course with DVDs. Seeking by mouse wheel. You can use your mouse wheel to go forward or backward in the video. Video equalizer, allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast, hue, saturation and gamma of the video image. Multiple speed playback. You can play at 2X, 4X... and even in slow motion. Filters. Several filters are available: deinterlace, postprocessing, denoise... and even a karaoke filter (voice removal). Audio and subtitles delay adjustment. Allows you to sync audio and subtitles. Advanced options, such as selecting a demuxer or video & audio codecs. Playlist. Allows you to enqueue several files to be played one after each other. Autorepeat and shuffle supported too. Preferences dialog. You can easily configure every option of SMPlayer by using a nice preferences dialog. Possibility to search automatically for subtitles in opensubtitles.org. Translations: currently SMPlayer is translated into more than 20 languages, including Spanish, German, French, Italian, Russian, Chinese, Japanese. A little bonus tool in the SMPlayer package is the "YouTube(TM) Browser for SMPlayer" providing you with a quick access to the most popular, most viewed and most rated videos on YouTube.
SolarWinds IP Control Bundle
The SolarWinds IP Control Bundle is a lovely piece software designed to make network IP conflicts a thing of the past. In the network administration world, IP (Internet Protocol) conflicts can be a frustrating and head wrecking process, causing blood pressures to rise, and strong words to be exchanged. While IP conflicts generally aren’t an issue for small orhome networks, in business, there can be literally thousands of different networked devices with modems, servers, phones, computers, switches, and printers all needing specific IP addresses, on the one network. IP conflicts between just 2 single devices on a Network can cause downtime, and interfere with critical business systems. The SolarWinds IP control Bundle does an awful lot of work to make such issues history, and turn all of the above problems to nothing more than annoying little niggles. The ‘Bundle’ includes the integration of the SolarWinds IP Address Manager (IPAM) and the SolarWinds User Device Tracker (UDT). This allows for a comprehensive two-step resolution of IP conflicts. The SolarWinds IP Control Bundle automatically detects IP conflicts and gives admins the exact MAC address at the root of the problem. The UDT can also locate the where the offending device is located, and that same software can be used the IT admins to shut down the offending port and isolate the device from the network.
